Hello everyone!
First and foremost, we hope any of you dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Fiona or Ian are safe and okay. Really from any disaster that might be going on in your area. We had a little rumble with Ian, but thankfully, we are fine. Secondly, we want to thank everyone for following us on our journey so far. You have no idea how much you mean to us. Even if we are often quiet and later with updates than we would like to be. That’s life, though, especially as a small team of 2 people.
I would like to preface the rest of this with the fact that we are not quitting, so you can stop panicking. However, what we are doing may lose us a lot of your support, and we completely understand if that is the case, but I would like to ask that you just read this in its entirety.
Geekxboy and I have given everything a lot of thought, and as of today, we have terminated our adopter contract with Enjin and will no longer be working toward blockchain integration. This does not mean that we aren’t going to do amazing things. We will work towards releasing Doctor Necrosis on Steam and other platforms. We will still be going through with the Founders Token; only it will not be an NFT. Instead, we will be selling it as a Kickstarter tier where you will get the same things we have already promised with it and probably more. The phenomenal artist we paid to do the artwork for all of our pets will be turned into steam trading cards at some point in the future.
There will be no hard feelings for the people that leave because they were only here for the potential blockchain aspect; we wish you all the best in all your future endeavors. For those of you that do stay, we are excited to turn the page and start this new chapter of Doctor Necrosis with you. Honestly, this has already lifted a bit of weight off our shoulders, making game creation more enjoyable.
